So after a very Cocoa hen do part one and two there really needs to be a very Cocoa wedding. So here it is!
This is John (my brand spanking new Husband!) and I outside our house just before we say I do. We are not very traditional & thought it was appropriate to spend the night before the wedding together, since we live together and all.
Off to the Town Hall...here is beautiful Cocoa lady & Bridesmaid, Kate showing off our amazing bouquets made by Swallows & Damsons
And here we are getting showered with confetti.
Now let's have a party! Off to Woodlane Countryside Centre. My very good friends had helped decorate this gorgeous barn the day before.
A few snaps of the very happy couple...
My bridesmaids...
Cocoa ladies...
And I love this one of me (amazing photography by Sophie Brooks who has worked for Cocoa)...
Inside the barn we had Ceri on harp...
Flowers by Swallow & Damsons...
A ridiculous but wonderful bear cake by Cake R Us a Sheffield based Chinese bakery I am obsessed with.
Pizza van 'Hettie' from the Artisan Pizza company , two lovely ladies who make damn good pizza.
Oh and some chocolate from Cocoa! Here are some caramel hearts wrapped in pink foil.
Raspberry truffles...
Have your cake and eat it!
Pecan Brownies...
Please help yourself...
to all the sweeties in the jar!
For table decorations I had recycled loads of jars, then after finding all the love letters my Grandad had written my Gran during the war I felt I must do something with them for the wedding. So I photocopied them, tea stained them and wrapped them around each jar with ribbons & lace.
Then made vases for the bouquets using the same technique.
Here are some snaps of the Cocoa girls, see if you recognise them from the shop...
Incredibly glam! Emily, Evie, Sophie and Holly
Sara, who will also see at Sharrow Marrow.
And the whole gang! Me and Kate aren't wearing 6 inch heels so we feel a little small.
If anyone would like Cocoa to be part of your special day, let us know what we can do for you.
